Our Executives and Directors

Stanley D. Crow

Stanley D. Crow, President and Director

Mr. Crow's former law practice emphasized real estate and small-business transactions, with their tax implications. He was admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, the United States Supreme Court, and United States Courts of Appeals for the Fourth and Ninth Circuits, and the Supreme Court and lower state and federal courts in Idaho. He holds a juris doctor degree from Harvard Law School.

He closed his law practice on December 31, 2011, to allow him to give full time to S.Crow Collateral Corp.

Prevalent in his thinking is that there is almost always a way around or through any seemingly insoluble problem, if only one is willing to approach the problem from a fresh starting point and to draw upon methods and concepts which have proven themselves in other contexts.

After concept, he believes that design, development and implementation require the hard work of combining broad vision with careful detail in documentation and systems.

In these ways, S.Crow Collateral Corp. has been able to achieve solutions that have eluded many others.

Mr. Crow has conceived and documented financial instruments and program structures for a broad variety of transactions and financial objectives. He has lectured on tax-advantaged business sales (stock and assets) at national conferences, and for certified public accountants and real estate brokers regarding tax-advantaged dispositions and transaction strategies in adverse economic circumstances. He has authored papers in economics for the Pacific Northwest Regional Economics Conference and the Economic Index Market, New York. He has authored papers and presentations on private investment in public infrastructure, tax-deferred exchanges, real-return bonds and mortgages, and constitutional law.
